Last updated: September 2026

Stresseze Therapy is a psychotherapy practice operated by Gabriela Dinca, MA, RP, CCC, a Registered Psychotherapist in Ontario. Protecting your privacy is a core part of the therapeutic relationship. This policy explains what information is collected through this website and in the course of providing psychotherapy services, how it is used and how it is protected.

Information collected

  • Contact information you provide through the consultation request form or by phone or email, such as your name, phone number, email address and the service you are interested in.
  • Clinical information collected during intake and sessions, including health history, assessment notes, session notes and correspondence relevant to your care.
  • Billing information needed to issue receipts and process payments or third-party claims (for example insurer or NIHB details).
  • Website usage information such as pages viewed and general device data, collected in aggregate to understand how the site is used.

How information is used

Information is used to respond to your enquiry, arrange and provide psychotherapy services, maintain clinical records as required by the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, issue receipts and process payments, and improve this website. Your information is never sold, rented or used for advertising.

Confidentiality and its limits

What you share in therapy is confidential. Information is disclosed outside the practice only with your written consent, or where disclosure is required or permitted by Ontario law, including: a risk of serious harm to yourself or another identifiable person; a reasonable suspicion that a child is in need of protection; an allegation of sexual abuse by a regulated health professional; a court order or summons; and mandatory regulatory inspections or investigations.

Storage, security and retention

Records are stored securely using password-protected, encrypted systems, and physical records, where they exist, are kept in locked storage. Video and phone sessions are conducted using secure platforms and are not recorded. Clinical records are retained for at least ten years after the last interaction, or ten years after a client reaches the age of eighteen, in accordance with professional requirements, and are then securely destroyed.

Email, forms and text messages

Email, web forms and text messages are convenient but cannot be guaranteed to be fully secure. Please share only the details needed to arrange contact and avoid sending sensitive clinical information through these channels. This website and its forms are not monitored continuously and must not be used for emergencies.

Cookies and analytics

This website may use cookies and privacy-conscious analytics to measure aggregate traffic and improve content. This data does not identify you personally and is not linked to clinical records. You can disable cookies in your browser settings.

Your rights

You may request access to your personal health information, ask that inaccurate information be corrected, withdraw consent for specific uses or disclosures subject to legal limits, and ask questions about how your information is handled. Requests are responded to within a reasonable timeframe.
